The Studio
Who we are
Our love for Morocco, and for Marrakech in particular, goes back nearly thirty years. The light, the ambiance, the quiet courtyards hidden behind plain doors: we never stopped coming back. In 2021, we decided to move here and build a new life.
I, Sophie, was an interior designer in France, Gregory, my husband, was operations director for a real estate company. Between the two of us, we bring both the eye and the rigour that a renovation demands.
Today, we enjoy accompanying riad owners, and those still dreaming of one, through their projects: drawing the interiors, bringing in artisans we know and trust, and following the works on site, day after day, until the house is ready to be lived in.

Interior design
Rooms designed around light, matter and the house's own history using Moroccan craftsmanship: tadelakt, zellige, carved wood and brass.

Site follow-up
We visit the worksite weekly, from the first wall to the final polish, so the work is done well and you have continuous follow-up on the evolution.

Houses brought back to life
Riad Beij
A warm palette of nude tones flows through every room, where light, natural materials and Moroccan craftsmanship bring tradition and contemporary lines into quiet dialogue. A timeless refuge in the heart of the medina.
Riad Japandi
Inspired by the mix between Japanese and Scandinavian design, we wanted to make it a soft cocoon of curves and roundness: lime-plaster curves, cocoa and cream linens, Berber rugs and warm wood, where Moroccan craft meets minimalist calm.
Kasbah Lover
A subtle dialogue between traditional Moroccan architecture and a contemporary touch: patinated whites, sand and natural wood set against black contrasts, with hand-carved wood, ironwork and made-to-measure lighting. The turquoise pool at its heart brings freshness and serenity, for an elegant, timeless atmosphere.
Riad Ambre
Contemporary lines punctuated by subtle Moroccan architectural details, with a wabi-sabi décor of raw materials and singular objects. Deep, enveloping tones dominated by saffron create a warm, elegant atmosphere full of character.
